TEAMS UP WITH PRAGUE CITY TOURISM
The Prague branch of Havas Worldwide Digital won in a recent tender of PIS – PCT the promotion of Prague abroad. Havas Digital Prague created for its new client a creative campaign thanks to which the Prague City Tourism will communicate about the Czech capital starting this year. It will run on social networks and over the Internet in countries such as Germany, Russia, United Kingdom, Italy, Netherlands, USA, China, Israel, South Korea and Japan.
“This is the first unified on-line campaign of Prague based on the initiative of Pražská informační služba – Prague City Tourism. The creative part will be prepared by Havas Worldwide Prague. We have signed a three-year contract with the agency,” says the Pražské informační služby – Prague City Tourism CEO Nora Dolanská.
The agency prepared a strategy of complete on-line communication for a three‑year period including creative: online spots, visuals, banner campaign, interactive on-line web tools, mobile applications and use of social networks such as Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram or Foursquare. The campaign called “East or West – Prague is Best” is conceptually oriented on five main themes: gastronomy, culture, romanticism, shopping and Prague as the ideal city for active tourism.
“We don’t concentrate on a romantic view of Prague only but we want to show the real life, for example using pairs of photographs emphasising the contrasts. The main idea of the campaign is, that Prague is the ideal urban destination, which shall meet almost all expectations of its visitors,” added Pavel Vincenc, Creative Director of Havas Worldwide Digital Prague.
The full launch of the campaign will take place this autumn.
